Directed / Independent Study Courses

Courses may be offered by directed or independent study on request and at the instructor's discretion. Some courses (such as independent research or practicum courses) are only available in this format, while others which are usually taught in class are adapted by instructors as necessary.  Generally, a maximum of 2 directed / independent study courses may be used towards a degree program.  Submit the application below if you would like to request approval.  Minimum GPA requirements may apply.
