This program is designed to equip students with a broad understanding of human life, thought and relationships, an awareness of methods, topics and trend in the humanities and social sciences, and an advanced ability to think analytically, critically and creatively. General RequirementsAll students in degree programs are required to take a minimum of courses in a variety of general arts and sciences so as to enable them to acquire an adequate foundation and context for their chosen area of studies, and to develop a critical appreciation of scholarship in general. These general requirements, along with the related co-curricular expectations of all regular Providence University College students, are designed to equip students to fulfill the mission and purposes of Providence University College.
