Please join us for the release of Faith Portraits 1 by Gail Tiessen and Elfrieda Lepp-Kaethler.
Featured Speaker Julie Bell will offer a critique/review of the manual followed by a response from the authors.

Tiessen was awarded the Governor General's Award for her work in the area of TESOL and has developed extensive materials that contributing to and supporting the field.
Lepp-Kaethler has worked as the Director of Literacy and Spanish as a Second Language Program at the South Eastman English and Literacy Services. She has been involved in Providence's English Language Institute in many capacities including, ESL Instructor, Program Coordinator from 1996-2002, and has been published in the field of English Language Curriculum numerous times. The ELI has been offering English as an Additional Language (EAL) to students since 1995. Providence maintains a strong reputation for preparing non-native English speakers for academic study.
With its strong team of English teachers, including Tiessen and Lepp-Kaethler, the English Language Institute offers small class sizes, personalized attention, a multicultural classroom, and the benefits of a safe and caring Christian community.

composting and community gardens.
Check out a variety of booths featuring different topics, and chat with others who have experience being involved in these kinds of issues.
Also, check out LET IT ROAST2, a benefit concert for later in the evening. All proceeds going to Haiti relief efforts. See the concert event listing for more information.

Focusing on the RM of DeSalaberry, Providence will host this family friendly event designed to give a voice to residents, business owners, community groups, service providers, or anyone interested in saving $ and helping the planet.
Come on out to discuss ways to address greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable solutions for the problem of pollution. A representative from the municipality will also present a Green Action Plan for feedback.

Join us at Providence College and Seminary for your opportunity to connect with other Christian leaders to encourage each other and learn with each other about issues facing evangelicals in today's Canadian culture.
Take in workshops on topics such as:

- Evangelicals engaging in a secular Canada.
- Talking about Church and Mission.
- Canadian public policy: Impacting Christian Ministries.
The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada's Christian Leaders Connection one-day seminars provide opportunity for pastors and Christian leaders in the church and in business to learn together, network and strengthen each other. Discover Canadian faith trends alongside senior, youth and children's pastors with elders, deacons, small group leaders, missional outreach coordinators, as well as ministry directors or business executives interested in engaging a secular Canada.
