Marketing Coordinator
Providence College & Seminary seeks a full-time Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Vice President for Educational Marketing, this entry level position is responsible for implementation and coordination of various marketing initiatives specific to student recruitment and institutional branding.
Primary areas of responsibility will include the coordination of advertising campaigns, media creation, and recruitment publications oversight. The Marketing Coordinator will also provide market analysis, brand research, content management and marketing support.
Minimum qualifications include a B.A. degree or certificate in marketing, communications, business administration, or related discipline. Successful candidate must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively within the context of deadlines and multiple projects. Excellent computer skills including experience with Excel spreadsheets, data analysis and creation of reports is required. In addition to outstanding communication skills, you must also have a solid understanding of the writing, proofing and editorial process.
Experience with writing for websites, and managing website content is also a plus. Knowledge and experience with basic html, search engine optimization, ppc advertising, and social media would be considered an asset. Experience in an academic and/or non-for-profit institution is preferred.

Sales and Ordering Assistant

This job requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The strength of the bookstore is to provide texts and other goods needed by the students so they can effectively study, and making customers feel welcome while remembering the details to fulfill their needs is a large part of the job. As well, applicants must be able to work under minimum supervision. Further details need to be remembered because the store is diverse in what it supplies for the student.
Applicants with a customer service attitude will be looked at strongly. Customer service and sales are what we do. We are looking for people who love books and learning and can pass on that attitude to our students. Knowledge of our courses or books is an asset. Some knowledge of computers is helpful both for use and sales as we also have a Computer Corner and supply internet to the students.
This job will require you to work as a sales counselor and as an assistant to the manager while keeping the store looking good, both in cleanliness and display. The job is largely office hours but requires some evening and weekend work, to facilitate opening at banquets and conferences as necessary. This position will involve approximately 37.5 hours per week. We are taking applications for an July 31 start date and running through at least the following year with good possibilities of long term.

Director of Finance and Operations
Providence College and Seminary invites applications for the position of Director of Finance and Operations. The Director serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Institution and supervises campus operations, including facilities management, campus services, and the business office. In addition to appropriate training and an accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA), the successful candidate will have significant experience in corporate non-profit finance.
