National Association & Conference Membership

National Christian College Athletic Association

Providence College is a proud member of the NCCAA Division II. This is an American-based association with 94 schools from across the United States. Providence competes in the North Central Region and plays against other schools such as:

  • Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa)
  • North Central University (Minneapolis, MN)
  • Trinity Christian College (Ellendale, ND)

The winner of the North Central Region for each sport goes on to compete in the U.S. National Championships, which brings together all the conference winners. All of our teams compete in this association except men's volleyball team.
